Okemos High School Athletics Advertising

1) Send an email to Advertise@OkemosAthleticBoosters.com. Include name, contact info, logo, which location(s) you want your sign(s) placed, and to which sport(s) you would like your advertising-share to go.  

2) Send a check made out to Okemos Athletic Boosters to PO Box 57; Okemos, MI 48864 OR pay online using the button above.

3) The OAB will work with the Athletic Dept, a sign company, and you to create an ad sign that we all approve of.

4) We will get that sign created, paid for, and installed. As well as get your Advertising Share sent to the Sports team you chose.

Yes, It’s recommended to keep advertisements simple for maximum visibility and impact. Please note, to stay within the pricing structure, multiple colors and designs may not be available. Graphics and/or logo (JPEG, EPS or AI extension) may be emailed to Advertise@OkemosAthleticBoosters.com.  

Half of your advertising cost will go directly to a sport of your choice, regardless of which venue the advertisement is being placed. The rest will cover the printing/installing costs and any remaining money will go to the Okemos Athletic Boosters general fund. 

 Yes, you can choose to give to 1 or 2 sports teams. For example, if you advertise at the Softball field, it will cost you $400 and we will give $200 to any sports team you choose or you can give $100 to two different teams.  

The normal process will take 3-4 weeks...Here are the steps in the process…

(1) You send us email with information/logo/etc.

(2) Boosters will communicate with Sign company to get art Proof made.

(3) We will send you your art Proof for final approval.

(4) OHS Athletic Dept will approve art Proof.

(5) Sign company will print and install sign. 

 Yes...The OAB and athletic director at Okemos High School reserves final approval on all banner placement and will act as the administrator for the banner program.. All advertising signs remain property of Okemos Athletic Boosters Club; therefore, OAB will handle the storage of your sign.

3300 Facilities, Real, and Personal Property - 3308 Distribution of Printed Material and Advertising in School

District facilities may be used to advertise or distribute printed information for commercial or promotional purposes (“Advertisement”) in accordance with this Policy. An approved Advertisement does not reflect the District’s approval or endorsement of any product, organization, service, or issue referenced in the Advertisement. An Advertisement does not include public recognition or commemoration of District or student organization donors and sponsors.

General Restrictions on Advertisements

No Advertisement may:

- violate law or Policy or urge a violation of law or Policy;

- lie or mislead;

- advocate the use, or advertise the availability, of tobacco (including e-cigarettes), alcohol, cannabis/marijuana, illegal drugs, or related paraphernalia;

- contain a statement or image that describes or displays profanity, pornography, sexual activity, nudity, violence, serious injuries, or corpses;

- incite violence or advocate the unlawful use of force;

- invade a person’s privacy;

- violate a trademark, copyright, patent, or other intellectual property right;

- include material inappropriate for the maturity level of the students exposed to the Advertisement; or

- create a likelihood of a material and substantial disruption.

The District may regulate Advertisement content within legally permitted parameters.

The District may determine the size, location, and times of display of all Advertisements.
